David is responsible for developing and maintaining the culture, vision, and operations of DeBra-Kuempel’s service account groups across all ten of our locations. These groups are focused on providing 24/7 service and maintenance solutions for mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, and assisting infrastructure customers throughout the tri-state area.
Expertise
David has 30 years of experience in the mechanical industry, starting when he completed a five-year apprenticeship with Sheetmetal Local 24 that helped develop his skills in both the field and shop. He then worked his way into the office, estimating costs, coordinating schedules, and managing mechanical solutions for customers.
During his career, he has held the positions of operations manager, estimating manager, and general manager. In 2023, he joined DeBra-Kuempel as executive vice president of service.
David has completed executive leadership trainings from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and Columbia Business School. He holds Ohio licenses in HVAC, hydronics, and refrigeration, and has also served on the Local 189 apprenticeship subcommittee.
The Personal Side
David enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He enjoys staying active, and hiking and biking in state and national parks.
