Les provides senior-level project and team management as the head of the Predictive Maintenance Department. With years of training and experience as a technician under his belt, Les understands the technical details involved in completing maintenance contracts of every size and shape. He uses this knowledge to add value to each predictive maintenance service call and project.


Les has over 30 years experience in the HVAC, mechanical service, and energy recovery fields. He is certified in Vibration Analysis, Infrared Thermography, and Airborne Ultrasonic Testing.

Following several years of training at local technical schools and a four-year enlistment with the U.S. Air Force serving as an aircraft maintenance specialist, Les began his career in the industry as an HVAC/R service technician. He performed service work for industrial, commercial, and residential accounts, which included HVAC equipment, chillers, controls, air and water balancing systems, infrared thermography, airborne ultrasonics and vibration analysis.

But his experience doesn’t stop there. Les has worked with refrigerant piping design and installation, chilled water and hot water equipment, gas and oil heating, reciprocating compressors, walk-in coolers and freezers, air balancing and industrial ventilation, cooling towers, heat exchangers, DDC and pneumatic controls, computer and clean room systems, and VFD programming and has extensive energy recovery knowledge. He is a veteran of steam heating, both process and comfort. He is one of only a few area technicians experienced with Steam Vacuum Systems.
