Joe D. Clark
As President, Joe oversaw the merger between the Fred B. DeBra Company and Kuempel Services, Inc. in 2002 after its acquisition by EMCOR. He now has full financial and operational responsibility for the Tri-State’s largest mechanical and electrical firm. He monitors the financial position of the company while also ensuring its teams and departments have the guidance and tools to deliver the best service possible to clients.
Joe received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton. He is also a member of MCA (Mechanical Contractors of America).
He began his career with DeBra-Kuempel as an estimator and project manager over 35 years ago. During the first 15 years, he directed the field technicians and office staff, training and supervising them to exceed customer expectations. As Vice President, Joe expanded the service department and developed an industrial division as part of the on-going business development plan. He personally managed and coordinated construction projects up to $10 million and is responsible for contract negotiations.
Supporting the company-wide value that safety is job #1, Joe implemented a safety program that complies with OSHA’s Hazardous Communication Act (HAZCOM) and the EPA’s SARA Title III Environmental Protection Programs.
